Job summary

Arup is recruiting Mechanical Building Services summer students to join our established Buildings teams across the UK. This 6-week internship offers hands-on experience in building design and sustainability, with the chance to contribute to real client projects from day one.

You will work as part of project teams alongside Architects, Building Services, Building Physics and Project Managers, gaining exposure to 3D modelling, thermal software and site visits to understand installed services.

Qualifications

• You must be in your final or penultimate year studying towards a MEng or BEng in Mechanical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent
• Demonstrate strong motivation and passion for a career in building design
• STEM minded individuals who are keen to use their engineering acumen to design the services that make buildings comfortable for users

Responsibilities

• Work as part of project teams to deliver effective and professional services to clients
• Collaborate with Architects, Building Services, Building Physics and Project Managers
• Develop skills in 3D and thermal software within a multidisciplinary environment
