Job summary

Jacobs invites motivated penultimate-year Civil Engineering students to join an 8-week Summer Internship Programme across UK offices. You will work with engineers on feasibility studies, reports and highway designs, gaining hands-on experience and on-the-job training. A Masters track, flexible, innovative mindset, and UK work rights are essential.

Programme runs June to August 2027 with mentorship from leaders and opportunities to network across disciplines and locations.

Qualifications

• On track to complete a Masters level qualification in Civil Engineering or similar in 2028.
• Penultimate year student, finishing degree in 2028.
• Available to join the 8-week programme from 28 June 2027 to 20 August 2027.
• Must have full right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support colleagues in the preparation of feasibility studies, scheme reports, and highway designs.
• Provide input across stages from initial concept through to construction.
• Gain exposure to training and tools while supporting Highways & Civils projects.
