Job summary

Moody's Investors Service invites applications for an AML/KYC research internship focused on collecting, validating and maintaining regulatory and governance documentation for financial institutions worldwide. The role emphasizes accuracy, adherence to procedures and the responsible use of AI tools to improve data quality and efficiency.

You will work with the AML/KYC Documents Team, gaining exposure to global compliance data products and cross-functional collaboration, while developing skills

Qualifications

• Strong ability to identify and obtain AML/KYC, regulatory, governance and Modern Slavery documents from official sources
• High attention to detail to verify documentation before records are updated
• Effective written and verbal communication to document research findings and communicate issues to colleagues
• Strong organizational and time management to handle multiple assignments and deadlines
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook to maintain trackers and records
• Ability to follow procedures, apply feedback and decide when to seek guidance
• Curiosity about AI concepts and openness to using AI tools responsibly to improve processes

Responsibilities

• Support collection, validation and maintenance of AML/KYC, regulatory and Modern Slavery documentation
• Research using official registries and sources to locate documentation for financial institutions worldwide
• Review documentation for authenticity, currency and completeness
• Maintain accurate records within internal systems with complete source information
• Use approved research tools and AI technologies to improve data quality and efficiency
• Identify opportunities to enhance research methods and documentation standards
• Collaborate with team members and progressively take ownership with increasing independence
