Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Civils/SuDS Engineer to work on a variety of drainage and SuDS design projects across the UK. You will contribute to flood risk assessments, technical reporting and robust design documentation.

The role offers hybrid work arrangements with a salary of 40,000–50,000 plus benefits and a bonus, reflecting your experience and qualifications. Commutable to multiple office locations including Bingley, Warrington or Nottingham.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering or a related subject.
• Experience in SuDS, drainage, flood risk management or a related field.
• Experience with drainage design software such as MicroDrainage, Civil 3D, InfoDrainage, FLOW or Site3D.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SuDS and drainage solutions across a range of projects.
• Undertake and review Flood Risk Assessments and detailed drainage designs.
• Manage multiple projects, working with clients and wider project teams.
• Prepare technical reports and design documentation, with opportunities to support junior engineers.
