Job summary

Anglian Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Agent / Project Manager to lead a substation project in Necton, Norfolk. The role covers day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors and deliveries, ensuring works run on programme and to required standards.

The contract is 6 months, starting early September 2026, at a rate of £450 per day, full-time on-site. Candidates should have strong safety awareness and site-management qualifications.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Site Agent / Project Manager or similar.
• Strong construction site management experience.
• Experience on substation, power, utilities or infrastructure projects advantageous.
• Strong understanding of health & safety and site procedures.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day running of the site.
• Coordinating subcontractors, site teams and deliveries.
• Ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the required standards.
• Monitoring progress and reporting to the wider project team.
• Liaising with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Ensuring site documentation and records are maintained.
• Supporting the delivery of the project from start to completion.
• Maintaining a strong focus on health & safety and quality.
