Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee multiple substation projects across Norfolk on a 12-month contract, with potential extension. Start ASAP. You will coordinate site activities, drive mechanical installations and ensure delivery to programme and standards.

Candidates should have proven substation experience, strong safety knowledge and the ability to manage multiple work packages and subcontractors on site. Civils experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on substation or similar electrical infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience managing mechanical installations.
• Good understanding of site health and safety requirements and construction procedures.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple work packages.
• Civils or groundworks experience would be beneficial.
• Relevant site management qualifications and safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site activities across multiple substation projects.
• Oversee and coordinate mechanical installation works.
• Manage subcontractors, site personnel and specialist installation teams.
• Ensure all works are completed in line with project programmes and specifications.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical and civils interfaces where required.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and implement solutions.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients and other stakeholders.
• Ensure site documentation, permits and RAMS are maintained and adhered to.
