Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property is seeking an experienced Site Foreman to oversee operations on a major substation project in Lochgilphead. You will supervise site teams and subcontractors, ensure health, safety and quality standards, and help achieve project milestones on a temporary assignment.

The role requires CSCS, SMSTS, a valid driving license, and a track record in civil or infrastructure environments.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card required; SMSTS preferred.
• Valid driving license.
• Experience supervising direct labour and subcontractors on civil/infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and incident protocols.
• Experience with ITPs and work package planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee direct labour and subcontractors on daily site operations.
• Lead safety briefings, Toolbox Talks and ensure safe systems of work.
• Contribute to Work Package Plans, Risk Assessments and temporary works.
• Drive quality assurance and Right First Time culture using BIM Field 360.
• Inspect and maintain site plant and equipment; manage permits.
• Chair daily short-interval control meetings and monitor KPIs.
