Job summary

Recruit 4 Construction Ltd in West Fife is seeking an experienced No.1 Site Manager to lead a live high-voltage substation project. You will oversee extensive civil works, reinforced concrete, steel structures and 132kV cable installation, delivering complex work safely and to a high standard.

The successful candidate will manage site teams, subcontractors and delivery partners, communicate with clients, and ensure RAMS, planning and QA are robust on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as No.1 Site Manager on comparable projects.
• Extensive experience within live high-voltage substations.
• Strong civil engineering subcontractor background.
• Substantial experience of 132kV cable installation or above.
• Ability to manage site teams, subcontractors and project delivery.
• Confident communication with clients, stakeholders and delivery partners.
• Experience producing high-quality RAMS.
• Experience preparing programmes and short-term lookaheads using MS Project.
• Strong knowledge of QA, inspection and test plans.
• Excellent IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project).
• Proactive, organised and delivery-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead as No.1 Site Manager on a major live substation project.
• Manage site teams and subcontractors to deliver safely, on time and to standard.
• Develop and maintain RAMS,PCNs and QA documentation.
• Prepare programmes and lookahead schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders and delivery partners on progress and issues.
