Omexom Uk is seeking a Commissioning Technician to support the Substations unit. You will assist commissioning engineers by preparing plans, performing basic testing, site inspections and coordinating activities on site.

You will follow safety procedures, help develop test reports and documentation, and mentor junior technicians as needed while ensuring schedules are met and project requirements are satisfied.

Qualifikationen

• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering principles.
• Familiarity with substation equipment and systems.
• Relevant experience in substation construction or commissioning.

Aufgaben

• Help commissioning engineers to develop commissioning plans and procedures for substation projects.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure that construction activities meet the project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and testing to verify the substation equipment meets the required specifications.
• Ensure that all safety procedures and regulations are followed during the commissioning process.
• Perform basic plant testing required in commissioning process.
• Basic Protection and Control testing is not mandatory but desirable.
• Follow the substation commissioning schedule.
• Perform troubleshooting to resolve basic issues identified during the commissioning process.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to the commissioning process, including test reports, inspection reports, and equipment manuals.
• Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.
