Job summary

Neos Networks is seeking a Field Technician/Engineer to support critical telecoms infrastructure across Havant and surrounding sites. The role involves safe, compliant access to substation assets and hands-on network maintenance, fault restoration, inspections and project delivery.

You will work at client sites with a focus on Cat 3 authorisation and high voltage environments, while upholding safety standards and company procedures. A driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Current SSEN Cat 3a authorisation or equivalent utility network authorisation.
• Experience in operational High Voltage substations and switching stations.
• Strong understanding of safe systems of work.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently across multiple locations while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Support network maintenance across operational sites.
• Assist fault restoration, inspections and project delivery where substation access is required.
• Represent Neos Networks on customer and utility sites, ensuring safety and compliance.
