Job summary

Redline Group Ltd seeks an experienced Field Service Engineer to troubleshoot, service and maintain electrical systems across the East Anglia region. You will handle on-site and remote support for critical infrastructure including battery chargers, UPS, emergency lighting, and substations.

The role requires knowledge of safety standards and access to networks where applicable. The ideal candidate has experience with utility substations and CSCS/Electrical Authorised Person credentials, and will

Qualifications

Experience servicing battery chargers, UPS systems and backup power supplies.
Experience with emergency lighting and substation operations.
CSCS certification or Electrical Authorised Person status is preferred.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain electrical systems across various sites, with focus on utility substations.
Troubleshoot and repair faults in backup power systems including UPS and related infrastructure.
Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
Perform preventive maintenance on critical systems like battery chargers and emergency lighting.
Document service activities, generate reports, and ensure safety compliance.
