Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a new post as part of the development of the paediatric long-term ventilation service. The postholder will join three specialist paediatric respiratory consultants and work within a multidisciplinary team at Oxford Children's Hospital.

The duties include contributing to the on-call rota and may be required to work on other OUH sites in the future. The Trust emphasises Delivering Compassionate Excellence in patient care.

Job description

This is a new post as part of the development of the paediatric long-term ventilation service.The postholder will join the 3 specialist paediatric respiratory consultants already in post. They will work within a multidisciplinary team that also includes respiratory specialist nurses, physiotherapists, dietitians, psychologists, respiratory physiologists and other support staff. We are a dynamic and committed team who together provide a comprehensive paediatric respiratory service for Oxfordshire, the Thames Valley and Northamptonshire., The postholder's duties will be primarily at Oxford Children's Hospital. The appointee will be expected to participate in the on-call rota and may be required to work on any other site as required by the OUH Trust in the future.
