Service Care Solutions is recruiting an experienced Substance Misuse Support Worker for a Worcester-based locum position. The role focuses on supporting individuals affected by substance misuse and coordinating care with partner agencies to ensure safe, recovery-focused outcomes.

You will manage a caseload, conduct assessments and create risk-based plans, delivering harm reduction advice and practical support. Strong communication and safeguarding knowledge are essential for this service.

Formación

• Experience supporting individuals affected by substance misuse.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and risk management.
• Understanding of recovery-focused interventions and harm reduction approaches.

Responsabilidades

• Managing a caseload of clients, providing ongoing support and guidance.
• Completing comprehensive assessments, support plans and risk assessments.
• Delivering harm reduction interventions, advice and practical support.
• Supporting service users with recovery planning and achieving individual treatment goals.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records.
• Following safeguarding procedures and managing risks appropriately.
• Working collaboratively with partner agencies and statutory services to ensure coordinated support.
