Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Recovery Worker for a Substance Misuse service in Walthamstow, London. Earn £22 per hour umbrella on a 3-month contract, working 37.5 hours per week in a busy, supportive team environment.

You will provide one-to-one support, develop personalised care plans, and educate on harm reduction, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. DBS compliance and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• DBS check up-to-date and on update service.
• Experience managing substance misuse cases with effective interventions.
• Proficient caseload management and keyworking skills, with an understanding of harm reduction and recovery models.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support and keyworking to individuals experiencing substance misuse, focusing on drugs and alcohol.
• Develop and manage personalised care plans, maintain confidential case records.
• Educate service users on harm reduction strategies and recovery models, promoting safe practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community services for comprehensive care.
• Conduct assessments and reviews to monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed.
