Archer Resourcing has a great opportunity for a Substance Misuse Nurse to join the team in Southend-on-Sea.

As a Substance Misuse Nurse, you will provide individualised clinical support to service users, enabling them to live fulfilling lives. Each individual using the service is treated as unique, so it is important that the successful candidate is respectful, attentive, and ready to listen.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Participate in effective assessment of care needs, providing a high standard of care to clients
• Develop, implement, and evaluate care programmes using a problem-solving approach that meets the needs of each individual
• Deliver training on substance misuse issues to stakeholders

Requirements:

• Relevant Degree
• Understanding and commitment to recovery and a person-centred approach
• At least 1 year of experience in a substance misuse role
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (advantageous)
• Enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months (fast-track possible via update service)
• Current and valid NMC registration
• Ability to deliver a range of services and interventions in a person-centred, non-judgemental manner
