Archer Resourcing has an exciting opportunity for a Substance Misuse Nurse to join the team in Chelmsford.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing high standards of nursing care through clinical assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of treatment for alcohol and drug users.
• Participating in inter-professional and multidisciplinary working.
• Contributing to the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical and psychosocial service delivery.
• Reviewing and maintaining care plans and needs assessments.
• Managing sensitive information with respect and empathy.
• Promoting the health and well-being of patients and supporting their needs.

Requirements:

• Relevant degree.
• Understanding and commitment to recovery and a person-centred approach.
• At least 1 year of experience in a substance misuse role.
• Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle (advantageous).
• Enhanced DBS within the last 12 months (on the update service preferred).
• Current and valid NMC registration.
• Ability to deliver a range of services/treatments/interventions in a person-centred, non-judgemental manner.
