Job summary

TechnipFMC is seeking a Project Operations Manager (POM) to lead offshore operations across the delivery lifetime of an Operations Package. You will ensure SQDC targets are met and act as a key liaison between VSO, OCMs and onshore teams, driving safe, timely, and cost-effective execution.

The role requires MSc/BSc in engineering with extensive subsea experience, strong leadership, and a track record in complex projects such as iEPCI, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and stakeholder

Qualifications

• MSc/BSc in Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant experience in subsea operations and installation engineering.
• Good knowledge of subsea activities including offshore installation techniques and assets.
• Experience in project execution, preferably in iEPCI type of projects.
• Excellent understanding of subsea projects, including equipment, operations, and services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Operation package is planned, organised and executed within time, budget, and QHSES requirements by managing resources, risks, opportunities and changes.
• Prepare and validate the Project Execution Plan for Operations Packages at tender and execution stages.
• Act as primary contact towards VSO and project vessel’s OCMs to manage day-to-day operations and onshore support.
• Promote a strong HSE and Quality focused mindset within the Operations organisation.
• Review defined documentation for Project Operation execution and oversee installation engineering integration with VSO and non-VSO activities.
• Ensure compliance with design and constructability reviews, HIRA and offshore readiness processes.
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities; implement mitigations.
• Prepare and present SQDC reporting to stakeholders.
• Fulfill contractual obligations and assist with variation orders.
• Build and maintain relationships with client and external stakeholders.
