Part Time: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday
1:30 PM – 6:30 PM
£18,000 OTE

At Newsquest Media Group, one of the UK’s leading publishers of local newspapers and magazines, we’re on the hunt for an experienced and persuasive sales executive to join our dynamic internal sales team. You’ll be responsible for re-engaging lapsed and casual readers, promoting our home delivery service, and ensuring our iconic publications continue reaching loyal subscribers.


Key Responsibilities
  • Sell and renew subscriptions via outbound telephone calls
  • Retain customers through tailored solutions

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Sales Experience – Background in telephone sales, ideally in subscriptions, publishing, or media, advantageous but not essential.
  • Resilient & Persuasive – Confident handling objections and turning interest into sales.
  • Strong Communicator – Builds rapport easily and adapts to different customer types.
  • Media Passion – Enthusiastic about journalism and promoting meaningful content.
  • Adaptable – Quick thinker who adjusts approach based on customer needs.
