Job summary

Babcock International in Helensburgh is seeking a Weapons Engineering Instructor to support Royal Navy submarine training at HM Naval Base Clyde. You will deliver specialist training on sonar and tactical weapons systems, ensuring personnel have the skills to operate and maintain advanced defence capabilities.

The role is on-site with Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, and requires SC security clearance. You will review materials, support course development, and ensure quality and safety

Qualifications

• Experience with submarine tactical weapons systems.
• Ability to deliver training and develop course materials.
• Ability to manage priorities and multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist Weapons Engineering training focused on sonar and tactical weapons systems.
• Review and update training materials to reflect operational and technical developments.
• Provide technical expertise to support course development and training improvement initiatives.
• Complete training administration, reporting and learner records in line with quality standards.
• Support security compliance activities, audits and protection of information and assets.
