Job summary

Babcock is recruiting a Weapons Engineering Instructor to support the Royal Navy's submarine training at HM Naval Base Clyde, Faslane. The role delivers specialist training on sonar and tactical weapons systems, updates materials, and ensures compliance with security and quality standards.

Based onsite, you will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and partners across engineering and training teams to enhance readiness and weapon systems knowledge for personnel operating on Astute-class

Qualifications

• Former Royal Navy Weapons Engineering Watch Keeper.
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of Weapons Engineering equipment.
• Strong information technology skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist Weapons Engineering training focused on sonar and tactical weapons systems.
• Review and update training materials to reflect operational and technical developments.
• Provide technical expertise to support course development, system changes and training improvement initiatives.
• Complete training administration, reporting activities and learner records in line with quality standards.
• Support security compliance activities, audits and the protection of sensitive information and assets.
