You will join our Submarine Operations Centre to provide vital engineering support to Royal Navy submarine maintenance and repair programmes, using modern digital tools and engineering data to shape maintenance solutions, keeping assets operational and ready for deployment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 qualification or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of submarine in-service support arrangements.
• Knowledge of submarine systems and their operation.
• Experience identifying, interpreting and resolving complex electrical and mechanical engineering issues.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Investigate, diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical engineering issues affecting submarine systems.
• Analyse system performance, defect trends and repair requirements to recommend practical engineering solutions.
• Interpret engineering drawings, technical publications and material specifications to provide technical guidance.
• Support maintenance, repair and engineering activities both within the office environment and onboard Royal Navy submarines.
• Collaborate with customers, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure maintenance work is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with operational requirements.
