Raytheon UK is seeking a Submarine Modelling & Simulation Engineer (MESM-SM) on a permanent basis in Winnersh. The role combines naval engineering data handling with DSAT simulations, collaborating with software and systems engineering teams to ensure fidelity and accuracy of models, simulations and emulations.

The MESM-SM will gather technical data, define data requirements, and work with data sources to access and apply these for training solutions.

Competenze

• Proven at-sea experience as a Cat A or Cat B Nuclear watchkeeper.
• Desire to learn and apply best engineering practices in training/simulation environments.

Mansioni

• Analyse, design, maintain and produce DSAT documentation and processes for training sites.
• Interview subject matter experts to collate data and discuss findings.
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers to identify required technical data for courseware development.
• Define fidelity, accuracy and responsiveness levels for software engineering and modelling teams.
• Configure simulators and emulators during development and testing phases.
• Champion environmental, health and safety compliance and continuous improvement.
