Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a Marine Engineering Submarine Specialist (MESM) to join our DDDS/Dsat team in the Winnersh area. The MESM will gather technical data to support DSAT courseware and media development, working with data sources and ensuring access to required information for training solutions.

The role requires proven at-sea experience as a Cat A Nuclear watchkeeper, with desirable extras including PWR 2, electrical background, and training design/delivery expertise.

Qualifications

• Proven at sea experience as a Cat A Nuclear watchkeeper.
• Desirable: PWR 2; Electrical background; Fwd ME duties; Training requirements, design or delivery; Boat Build Crew; DE&S/SDA.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a wider team responsible for analysis, design, maintenance, review and production of DSAT documentation & processes for training sites.
• Interview subject matter experts to collate required data and participate in workshops.
• Collaborate with customer and suppliers to identify technical data for courseware and media development.
• Contextualise training and language to ensure correct conditions and standards are applied.
• Conduct upkeep, update and revalidation of course technical data.
• Identify opportunities to exploit training methods and media to improve training delivery.
• Foster a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and continuous improvement.
• Fulfill other duties to complete CMDC Training Service.
