Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a Marine Engineering Submarine (MESM) subject matter expert to gather technical data supporting the DSAT courseware and media development programme. The MESM SME will identify data sources, access requirements, and collaborate with Courseware and Media Teams to contextualise training and ensure correct conditions and standards are applied.

The Requirements Team SMEs will work with customers and suppliers to obtain data, update and revalidate course technical data, and

• Proven at sea experience as a Cat A Nuclear watchkeeper.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of the wider team responsible for the analysis, design, maintenance, review and production of DSAT Documentation & processes for our Customer’s training sites and organisations.
• Interviewing subject matter experts to collate required data, participate in internal workshops to discuss and agree findings from analysis.
• Work with the customer and the customer’s agents and suppliers to identify technical data required for courseware and media development and also external routes to obtain the data.
• Work with the courseware and media content developers to contextualise training and language and ensure correct conditions and standards are applied to the training solution.
• Conduct the upkeep, update and revalidation of course technical data.
• Identify where training methods and media currently in use in the Customer may be exploited to better develop and deliver the Programme’s courseware.
• Be ‘Responsible for championing and fostering a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and continuous improvement’.
• Any other duties required to complete the CMDC Training Service.
