Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a Marine Engineering Submarine SME to gather technical data for DSAT courseware and media. You will work with data sources, access the data, and support the training development program across Defence Systems Approach to Training.

The role requires sea experience as a Cat A Nuclear watchkeeper and demands collaboration with courseware teams to ensure accurate training content and language. Hybrid/remote site arrangements may be available.

Qualifications

• Proven at sea experience as a Cat A Nuclear watchkeeper.
• Desirable: PWR 2 and electrical background.
• Desirable: experience in training requirement, design or delivery.
• Desirable: member of a boat build crew.
• Desirable: DE&S/SDA involvement.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the wider DSAT documentation and process team.
• Interview subject matter experts to collate required data.
• Collaborate with customer and suppliers to identify data needs.
• Contextualise training language and ensure correct training standards.
• Maintain, update and revalidate course technical data.
• Explore opportunities to improve training methods and media.
• Champion and foster Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance.
• Undertake other duties to support CMDC Training Service.
