Job summary

The Edwin Group in Poynton is seeking a passionate Subject Tutor to deliver 1:1 tuition during the day or after school. You will work with Key Stage 3 and 4 students, delivering subject specialist support in English, Maths or Science on a long-term, part-time basis to help pupils reach target grades.

The role offers a flexible start date, competitive PAYE rates, and regular progress reporting to monitor student engagement and attendance.

Qualifications

• A teaching qualification.
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
• A passion for the progress of secondary school pupils.
• Ability to commit to regular tutoring sessions each week.
• Ability to complete weekly reports of student engagement and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 tuition for KS3/KS4 students.

The School and Role

This local authority team, based in Poynton are looking to appoint a passionate Subject Tutor to deliver 1:1 tuition on an hourly basis during the day or after school. The desired Subject Tutor will work 1:1 with students in Key Stage 3 and 4 delivering subject specialist support. This part time Subject Tutor role is long term to support students to achieve their target grades.

Subjects include:

• Science,

Requirements

The desired Subject Tutor will have:
