Salary: MPS/UPS plus TLR2c (£8,279)

Your role:
As the Subject Leader for Modern Foreign Languages, you will lead and inspire a team of language teachers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, engaging lessons that foster a love for languages and drive student achievement. You will oversee planning, preparation, and assessment, ensuring alignment with the curriculum and meeting diverse student needs. You will mentor and support your team, promoting professional development and collaborative practices, while maintaining high standards of teaching and learning. Your role includes monitoring student progress, implementing effective strategies to address challenges, and celebrating successes.
To excel in this role, you must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), along with a degree in a relevant subject. You should possess a deep understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching and learning styles. Experience in leading a team, delivering student-centred learning at Key Stages 3 and 4, planning schemes of work, and using ICT in teaching is essential. Your ability to inspire and enthuse both students and colleagues, set high expectations, and build effective relationships will be crucial.
