Job summary

Network Plus is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Team Leader to manage our Subcontract Payment Team. You will oversee subcontractor payment runs, ensure accuracy, and maintain robust financial controls in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong knowledge of CIS, CITB, and DRC, plus excellent Excel skills and leadership. You will report to the department manager, support compliance, and build positive relationships with subcontractors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable with subcontractor payments.
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with CIS returns and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Subcontract Payment Team day-to-day operations.
• Oversee weekly and ad hoc subcontractor payment runs with accuracy.
• Maintain high-value payment runs and robust controls.
• Prepare CIS returns monthly and on time.
• Prepare CITB returns and ensure compliance.
• Ensure adherence to legislation and industry regulations.
• Produce reports and maintain accurate records.
• Identify improvements to payment processes for efficiency.
• Provide guidance and manage team workload.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and subcontractors.
