Siemens Energy in Lincoln is seeking a Cell Manager for Sub Assembly to lead a dedicated manufacturing area delivering critical sub-assembly components for gas turbine builds. You will oversee daily operations, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

You will coach a team of fitters and specialists, coordinate labour, tooling and materials, and drive continuous improvement with Lean methods while collaborating with Rotor, Build, Planning and Quality teams.

Formación

• Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing or precision engineering environment.
• Strong people management and coaching skills for skilled teams.
• Experience managing assembly operations against SQDC KPIs.
• Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen and root cause analysis.
• Ability to collaborate across Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Quality and Production teams.
• Commitment to safety, discipline and high workmanship standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop Sub Assembly team, setting clear expectations and a focus on safety, quality and performance.
• Manage day-to-day Sub Assembly operations to meet schedule and support customer delivery requirements.
• Establish and strengthen Sub Assembly as a standalone area, driving accountability and efficiency.
• Coordinate labour, tooling, equipment and materials to maximise productivity and minimise disruption.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives to improve throughput and reduce waste.
• Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions in line with standards.
