Job summary

Navartis Ltd is seeking a Sub Agent to take ownership of key work packages (roofing, doors, or glazing) for a major UK JV. Based at Old Oak Common in London, you will manage subcontractors and coordinate design and construction activities on site.

You will oversee safety, programme delivery, and interface management with design and site teams, driving improvements and reporting progress with accurate documentation. NEC contract experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience in major infrastructure or construction projects.
• Working knowledge of NEC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of allocated work packages.
• Oversee subcontractor performance, programme, and deliverables.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met.
• Work closely with design, commercial, and site teams.
• Identify risks, resolve interface issues, and drive continuous improvement.
• Report progress and maintain accurate project documentation.

One of the UK's largest infrastructure contractors are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Sub Agent / Package Manager to join a highly successful, long-established joint venture between two of the world's leading infrastructure and construction giants

Based at Old Oak Common in London.

As a Sub Agent you will take ownership of key work packages (roofing, doors, or glazing), managing subcontractors, coordinating design and construction activities, and ensuring safe, efficient delivery on site.

Duties:

• Manage day-to-day delivery of allocated work packages
• Oversee subcontractor performance, programme, and deliverables
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met
• Work closely with design, commercial, and site teams
• Identify risks, resolve interface issues, and drive continuous improvement
• Report progress and maintain accurate project documentation

Sub Agent Specification

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• Strong experience in major infrastructure or construction projects
• Working knowledge of NEC contracts
• Proven ability managing subcontractors and site activities
• CSCS required (SMSTS desirable)

Desirable Experience

• Structural steel, roofing, cladding or glazing packages
• Rail or major infrastructure interfaces (e.g. Network Rail, HS2)
• Temporary works and lifting operations

Salary: Circa £54,000 - £56,000 + car allowance of £5000 plus package
