Job summary

VolkerStevin, part of VolkerWessels UK, is recruiting Sub Agents to support delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects across AMP8 frameworks. You will lead site operations, coordinate civil engineering and MEICA works, and ensure on-time, safe delivery of high-quality construction activities.

The role offers engagement with stakeholders and pathways to career development within a leading infrastructure business.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Sub Agent, Site Agent, Senior Engineer, or similar role.
• Background in civil engineering, utilities, water, wastewater, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multidisciplinary construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage site operations throughout the construction phase.
• Drive safety culture and ensure compliance with SHEQ requirements.
• Produce RAMS, ITPs, Site Management Plans and Environmental Control Plans.
• Manage temporary works, lifting operations, and site authorisations.
• Identify and manage project risks, opportunities, and changes.
