Zusammenfassung

VolkerStevin is recruiting Sub Agents to support water and wastewater infrastructure projects under the AMP8 framework. You will lead site activities, coordinate civil engineering and MEICA works, and ensure delivery on time and to high quality standards.

Reporting to the Project Manager and Contracts Manager, you will drive safety, quality, and environmental compliance, manage RAMS/ITPs, and oversee subcontractors and supply chain partners to achieve successful project handover.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a Sub Agent, Site Agent, Senior Engineer, or similar role.
• Background in civil engineering, utilities, water, wastewater, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multidisciplinary construction activities.
• Excellent communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to identify and manage project risks, opportunities, and change.
• Proactive and collaborative approach to project delivery.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage site operations throughout the construction phase.
• Drive safety culture and ensure compliance with SHEQ requirements and legislation.
• Produce, review, and monitor RAMS, ITPs, Site Management Plans, and Environmental Control Plans.
• Manage temporary works, lifting operations, excavation activities, and site authorisations.
• Identify and manage project risks, opportunities, and changes; escalate as needed.
• Monitor progress and manage short-term look-ahead plans and programmes.
• Coordinate site activities through planning and progress meetings.
• Manage subcontractors and supply chain partners from pre-start to completion.
• Support procurement, labour, and plant planning to ensure delivery.
• Build relationships with United Utilities representatives and stakeholders.
• Produce weekly progress reports and maintain project records including as-built docs.
• Drive quality standards and timely closure of defects and NCRs.
