Job summary

Contract Scotland is seeking an experienced Sub Agent to support delivery of major infrastructure projects under regulated frameworks across transport and public sectors. You will work with the Principal Contractor and supply chain to oversee contracts, coordinate site activities and ensure safety, quality and performance.

The role combines commercial responsibilities with hands-on delivery, requires stakeholder coordination, risk management and adherence to contractual requirements, and offers

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in subcontract management, commercial support and contract administration.
• Experience on major transport or public infrastructure schemes is advantageous.
• Understanding of risk management practices in regulated frameworks.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and ensure delivery within contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration of subcontract agreements and supply chain contracts, ensuring alignment with framework requirements.
• Represent the business in day-to-day contractual discussions with subcontractors and supply chain partners.
• Assist with commercial negotiations covering work scopes, rates, variations and changes.
• Track subcontractor performance against programmes, budgets and compliance obligations.
• Compile and manage valuations, payment applications and contractual correspondence.
