Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Sub-Agent to join the Southern Water AMP 8 Framework team, based at Southern Water offices in Chatham / Falmer. The role involves coordinating preconstruction and construction activities, managing resources, and ensuring safety, quality and profitability.

Flexible start/end times are offered with a 40-hour week. You will support delivery, monitor subcontractors, and lead site supervisors while maintaining high standards and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification (Management / NVQ L3 / HNC / Degree) and ICE chartered status or working towards it.
• Proven track record in managing projects with strong commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• SMSTS and CSCS and/or CPCS Card qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies and Business Assurance Systems.
• Manage day-to-day site activities and ensure works are delivered to specification.
• Oversee labour, plant, materials and supply chain resources with accurate recording.
• Manage and monitor sub-contractor performance and delivery.
• Lead supervisors, site engineers and section engineers whilst ensuring quality assurance and daily monitoring.

Job description

We're looking for a Sub-Agent to join our Southern Water AMP 8 Framework team based in Southern Water office Chatham / Falmer. Location: Southern Water office Chatham / Falmer. Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on start and end times. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

As a Sub-Agent, you'll play a vital role in coordinating, planning and delivering preconstruction and construction phase activities for our projects under the Southern Water AMP 8 Framework. You'll manage operational resources to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards whilst maximising customer satisfaction and profitability.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Sub-Agent, You'll Be Working Within The Southern Water AMP 8 Framework Team, Supporting Them In Delivering Outstanding Results For Our Customers. Your Day To Day Will Include

This Role Of Sub-Agent Is Great For You If

• You have a relevant qualification (Management qualification / NVQ L3 / HNC / Degree) and are Chartered with ICE or working towards it
• You have a proven track record in successfully managing projects with strong commercial awareness
• You possess excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
• You hold SMSTS and CSCS and/or CPCS Card qualifications
