Jackson Civil Engineering is recruiting a Sub Agent for our Northern Region, initially on a Sea Defence Improvement Scheme in Stallingborough. The role focuses on supporting the Site Agent, managing site teams, and ensuring safe, efficient project delivery.
The candidate should have main contractor Civil/Highways experience, NEC contract knowledge, and a valid UK driving licence. Travel across the Southern Region will be required. Excellent benefits and development opportunities are offered.

We are now recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent for our Northern Region, initially working on a Sea Defence Improvement Scheme in Stallingborough.
Are you the Sub Agent we are looking for?
We are looking for someone with a positive, proactive attitude who is ambitious, flexible and enjoys working as part of a team.
The successful candidate will have experience working for a main contractor on civil engineering projects, with a strong background in highways and river works.
You will be an effective communicator with the ability to manage and motivate site teams, delegate responsibilities appropriately and organise both your own workload and that of others to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
Experience working under NEC forms of contract is essential, along with a relevant industry qualification and a valid SMSTS (or equivalent) qualification.
Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be willing to travel throughout our Southern Region and hold a full UK driving licence. A First Aid at Work qualification would be advantageous.
