Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Study Analyst to join our team at Alconbury, near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. The role schedules Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours, within a global Life Sciences CRO known for laboratory testing and drug development services.

The Study Analyst will develop analytical methods, gain proficiency in Formulation & Inhalation Analysis techniques, and ensure GLP compliance while supporting study management and staff training.

Qualifications

• Familiar with standard laboratory equipment.
• Some experience with chromatographic techniques such as HPLC.
• Basic computer and software knowledge.
• GLP experience or knowledge.
• Site is remote with no public transport links.

Responsibilities

• Develop or improve existing analytical methodology under the guidance of senior Dose Analysis personnel.
• Develop a working knowledge of all Formulation & Inhalation Analysis analytical techniques and instrumentation.
• Undertake method validation, samples for Formulation & Inhalation Analysis studies and prepare formal analytical methods.
• Regularly update Dose Analysis study management and the Study Director on the status of assigned studies.
• Assist in the training of new staff in analytical techniques and instrumentation.
• Maintain a thorough working knowledge of UK and international Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) regulations and their application to the work area.
• Maintain an in depth knowledge and understanding of all Company and Department SOP’s relevant to the work area.
