Job summary

Labcorp in the UK seeks a Study Analyst to join the Dose Analysis team at Alconbury, near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. The role focuses on developing or improving analytical methodologies under guidance from senior staff and gaining across forming techniques in Formulation & Inhalation Analysis.

Qualifications

• Develop or improve analytical methodology under guidance of senior Dose Analysis personnel.
• Basic knowledge of computers and software programs used in the lab.
• Familiar with standard laboratory equipment and basic chromatographic techniques such as HPLC.
• GLP experience or knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop or improve existing analytical methodology under the guidance of senior Dose Analysis personnel.
• Develop a working knowledge of all Formulation & Inhalation Analysis analytical techniques and instrumentation.
• Undertake method validation, samples for Formulation & Inhalation Analysis studies and prepare formal analytical methods.
• Regularly update Dose Analysis study management and the Study Director on the status of assigned studies.
• Assist in the training of new staff in analytical techniques and instrumentation.
• Maintain a thorough working knowledge of UK and international Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) regulations and their application to the work area.
• Maintain an in depth knowledge and understanding of all Company and Department SOP’s relevant to the work area.
