Job summary

MandM is seeking a Studio Production Manager to own our studio operations, lead a photography and imaging team, and manage budgets while expanding AI-enabled image production. Reporting to the Head of Product Content, you will drive efficient workflows and ensure high-quality output for UK and European markets.

Qualifications

• Experience leading photography or content production teams.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and collaborative leadership.
• Interest in AI-assisted image production tools.
• Budgeting and financial management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day studio operations and schedule shoots.
• Directly manage, train, and develop a team of Photographers, Retouchers, and Image Executives.
• Oversee studio setups and equipment maintenance, ensuring safety standards.
• Develop and integrate AI-assisted photography tools into workflows.
• Test new AI tools in collaboration with wider teams.
• Manage reshoots and image amendments, deciding AI vs post-production.
• Supervise Digital Asset Management and file naming before upload.
• Ensure brand imagery for UK/European warehouses aligns with priorities.
• Partner with Retouchers to reflect samples in final imagery.
• Manage the Studio budget and resource allocation.
• Liaise with Buying on model casting and AI avatars; collaborate with Creative teams.
• Work with Head of Product Content to refine processes and output.
