Job summary

Avery Dennison’s Thermopatch Sports unit in Harrogate is seeking a Studio Operative who translates artwork into production-ready formats, ensuring high-quality standards while optimizing for production efficiency and sustainability.

You will create and refine artwork, convert it to production files, and collaborate across departments to meet timelines and specifications. The role demands strong design software skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in graphic design and illustration software.
• Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Create images, redraw or enhance art, and recommend changes to improve the end product or correct errors.
• Use graphic design and illustration software to convert artwork to production art and produce negatives, electronic files, and color proofs.
• Determine necessary changes to artwork in order to maximize printing quality and production efficiency.
• Produce finished electronic art for digital proofing and printing consistent with product specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments regarding jobs and specifications, accuracy, timelines, and status.
