Job summary

Thermopatch, an Avery Dennison Company in Harrogate, UK seeks a Studio Operative to translate artwork into production-ready formats. You will ensure high-quality standards, optimize for production efficiency and sustainability, and work with other departments to meet timelines.

The role requires proficiency in graphic design and illustration software, strong prepress knowledge, and meticulous attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in graphic design and illustration software.
• Strong understanding of desktop prepress and color management principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Create images, redraw or enhance art, and recommend changes to improve the end product or correct errors.
• Use graphic design and illustration software to convert artwork to production art and produce negatives, electronic files, and color proofs.
• Determine necessary changes to artwork in order to maximize printing quality and production efficiency.
• Produce finished electronic art for digital proofing and printing consistent with product specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments regarding jobs and specifications, accuracy, timelines, and status.
