Job Description

The Studio Operative plays a vital part in the creation and conversion of artwork into production-ready formats. This role ensures that visual concepts are accurately translated into electronic files and physical proofs, maintaining the high-quality standards required for final printed products while optimizing for production efficiency and sustainability.

  • Create images, redraw or enhance art, and recommend changes to improve the end product or correct errors.
  • Use graphic design and illustration software to convert artwork to production art and produce negatives, electronic files, and color proofs.
  • Determine necessary changes to artwork in order to maximize printing quality and production efficiency.
  • Produce finished electronic art for digital proofing and printing consistent with product specifications and requirements.
