Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Studio Operative to translate artwork into production-ready formats, ensuring high-quality standards while optimizing production efficiency and sustainability across the workflow. You will create images, redraw or enhance art, convert artwork to production art and proofs, and collaborate with other departments to meet exacting specifications, timelines and accuracy.

Job description

The Studio Operative plays a vital part in the creation and conversion of artwork into production-ready formats. This role ensures that visual concepts are accurately translated into electronic files and physical proofs, maintaining the high-quality standards required for final printed products while optimizing for production efficiency and sustainability.

  • Create images, redraw or enhance art, and recommend changes to improve the end product or correct errors.
  • Use graphic design and illustration software to convert artwork to production art and produce negatives, electronic files, and color proofs.
  • Determine necessary changes to artwork in order to maximize printing quality and production efficiency.
