Job summary

WQE, a Sixth Form College located near the University of Leicester, is seeking a self-motivated Welfare and Skills team member to develop and coordinate support for students with welfare and mental health difficulties, and to contribute to safeguarding efforts.

The successful candidate will hold at least 2 A Levels along with English and Maths, with experience working with young people in an educational setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 A Levels and English and Maths qualifications.
• Experience with young people in an educational setting is desirable.
• Administration and confidential capacity experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the Welfare and Skills team to develop and coordinate welfare support for students with welfare and mental health difficulties.
• Be a member of the college safeguarding team.
