Job summary

Chichester College Group seeks a part-time Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer in Crawley to support students with health and wellbeing needs and contribute to the college's mental health strategy.

The role is term-time, on-site, with safeguarding duties as part of a team. Applicants will need GCSE English and maths at C/4 or higher and a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Experience and interest in supporting young people, and knowledge of mental health and safeguarding.
• GCSEs at grade C/4 or above in English and maths; L3 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to students with health and wellbeing needs.
• Assist on the delivery of the Mental Health Strategy.
• Be a member of the Safeguarding Team, on a rota basis.
