Job summary

St Bede's Catholic Voluntary Academy in North Lincolnshire is seeking a Wellbeing Officer to support 11-16 year olds beyond barriers to learning. This permanent full-time role contributes to academic, social, and emotional development within a Catholic ethos.

The successful candidate will work 37 hours per week, term time only, triaging and supporting pupils, coordinating with external agencies, and maintaining safeguarding records with confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in pastoral or pupil support.
• Ability to triage and support pupils.
• Experience coordinating with external agencies.
• Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Triage and support pupils.
• Work closely with Head of Year, senior leader, and external agencies.
• Coordinate plans for the care of pupils in crisis in conjunction with medical needs.
• Develop positive and constructive relationships to enhance personal development.
• Coordinate with external agencies and families to address individual needs and enhance social and emotional well-being.
• Assist with the smooth transition of students at key stages in their educational journey.
• Maintain accurate records, including safeguarding-related actions, and uphold confidentiality in all interactions.
