Job summary

Alder Community High School invites applications for a Pastoral Leader to join our inclusive team. The role focuses on promoting student wellbeing, improving behaviour and attendance, and supporting students and families to overcome barriers to learning.

The successful candidate will lead pastoral care, work closely with students, families, staff and external agencies to ensure every child has the opportunity to succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, young people or families.
• Ability to promote student wellbeing and engagement.
• Experience leading pastoral care and working with external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead pastoral care for students and families.
• Collaborate with staff and external agencies to support development.
• Improve behaviour and attendance while safeguarding pupils.
