Job summary

The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) invites applications for a Student Wellbeing Adviser to provide counselling and wellbeing support to our diverse student body. You will deliver one-to-one counselling, wellbeing advice and early intervention, working within the Student and Academic Services team to place student wellbeing at the heart of the experience.

You will also develop wellbeing initiatives, promote awareness, and foster a culture where students feel supported and able to thrive.

Qualifications

• A recognised qualification in counselling, psychotherapy or counselling psychology at Level 4 or above (or equivalent).
• Current registration with BACP, or with an equivalent professional body (UKCP, BPS).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one counselling and wellbeing support to students.
• Offer wellbeing advice and early intervention to students in need.
• Develop wellbeing initiatives and promote awareness within the student community.
• Foster a culture in which students feel supported and able to thrive.
• Collaborate with the Wellbeing Team and other colleagues to maintain an inclusive service.

Education

Level 4 counselling qualification or equivalent

BACP/UKCP/BPS registration
