Job summary

EQUA Mead Learning Trust is seeking a PBSC Coordinator to support pupils requiring pastoral, behavioural, social and emotional support. You will coordinate interventions and mentoring, working with families and external agencies to promote wellbeing.

The role involves managing the PBSC on a day-to-day basis, maintaining records and delivering restorative approaches to help students thrive academically and socially. 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, start date 01 December 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with behavioural and emotional needs.
• Ability to work with families, carers, and external agencies.
• DBS check and safeguarding awareness required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate targeted pastoral interventions and mentoring.
• Deliver restorative approaches to promote positive behaviour.
• Manage the PBSC on a day-to-day basis and monitor interventions.
• Maintain records and liaise with pastoral staff and external partners.
• Support students to engage with learning in a safe, structured environment.
