Job summary

Glenleigh Park Primary Academy is looking for a dynamic and caring Pastoral and Behavioural Assistant to join our supportive team on a permanent basis. The role is 34 hours per week, term-time only, supporting pupils with wellbeing, learning and personal development.

You will work with individuals and small groups, reinforcing positive behaviours and collaborating with staff to raise achievement and confidence in all students.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants, in Childcare or in Playwork desirable
• GCSEs incl. English and Maths at level 4 or above desirable

Responsibilities

• Support children's wellbeing, learning and personal development
• Support individuals and small groups to help them achieve their potential
• Work with the class teacher and wider school team to implement behaviour strategies and monitoring
