Job summary

We Manage Jobs (WMJobs) is recruiting for an Every Child Matters Co-ordinator to join our middle leadership team on a temporary maternity cover basis.

The role focuses on improving attendance, behaviour and wellbeing by working closely with students, families and external agencies. It requires safeguarding expertise, organisational strength, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive school team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, families and external agencies.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, carers and colleagues.
• Organised, proactive and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Identify and support students at risk of disengagement or other barriers to learning.
• Work with students and small groups to improve attendance, behaviour and educational outcomes.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers, including home visits where appropriate.
• Signpost families to relevant support services and work with external agencies.
• Attend safeguarding meetings and look after confidential records.
